Name Change
As of October 2021, we are now Herts Young Sopranos and Altos :)

It's very exciting and inspiring that so many young people are finding the space to explore where they sit on the gender spectrum. By defining ourselves as being 'for girls', we've been by default excluding those with a non-binary identity, and as an organisation who pride ourselves on being an inclusive safe space, we wanted to make a positive change.

Our main goals remain the same: promote self-confidence, celebrate individuality, sound fabulous with a hot pink folder in our hands!
New Members
Our most recent members are Alice and Robyn :)

We have had a shuffle around of parts, with some members moving from soprano to alto and vice versa. We encourage switching around in order to stretch everyone's voices and expand their range.

Maisie (member 2008-2013) Now a writer, director and teacher of acting.

Sophie (member 2012) Now a performer, currently in the international tour of Cats.
Elise (member 2013-2015) Now an actor.
Maia (member 2014-2017) Now on an internship studying Elephant Conservation in Thailand.
Elly (member 2012-2019) Now an actor and singer.
