Herts Young Sopranos and Altos

(formerly The North Herts All Girls Choir)

The choir was founded in 2007 by Laura McHugh and Kelly Doggett (at the time Laura Gillions and Kelly Bibb!)

 

We meet every Tuesday during school term time 6:30pm-8:30pm at Hitchin Youth Trust.

 

We sing a variety of styles, mainly pop and musical theatre, but we also cover gospel, jazz, classical and rock.

 

Our members are enthusiastic and committed, and rehearsals are always enormous fun.

Fees are £72.00 a term, which for a 12-week term works out to just £3 an hour. 

 

We perform at least twice a year, and we have competed in both local and national competitions. HYSA is a member of the National Association of Choirs.

Our leaders have training in Child Protection and First Aid, and the choir is Public Liability Insured. Safeguarding policy available on request.
